Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Le Terre dell'Abate is an intense and persistent red wine from Cantina Zaccagnini , a company that since its foundation has exemplified the best Abruzzo winemaking tradition. It is obtained from Montepulciano grapes only, a vine grown in many areas of central Italy. On the hills where the company's vineyards extend, the vines find the ideal environment for producing healthy and vigorous grapes. Between the rows, the cellar team works meticulously up to the manual harvest with selection of the best bunches. The winemaking process begins with a first soft pressing of the grapes, which are then left to ferment on the skins in steel tanks. For ageing, the production philosophy is inspired by a concept of balance: the wine spends 4 months in steel and finally 6 months in large oak barrels. Excellent to drink right now, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Le Terre dell'Abate can evolve and refine for at least another 3 or 4 years after bottling, if well kept in the cellar.
