Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Spelt Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Magnum is one of the finest red wines in the range signed by La Valentina, an Abruzzo winery that has won numerous international awards for years. This intense and fragrant red is obtained from the vinification of only Montepulciano grapes, grown in vineyards that have their roots in a soil with a strong clayey component, suitable for giving grapes particularly suited to producing full-bodied wines. After careful harvesting and traditional fermentation, the vinification takes place in steel tanks and lasts for about three weeks. The refinement, on the other hand, lasts a year and a half and takes place inside both large barrels and barriques. Finally, a further refinement of 12 months in the bottle follows, at the end of which this red wine has sealed all its aromas. Spelt Montepulciano d'Abruzzo in the Magnum version (1.5 lt bottle) is excellent to drink in its youth in the context of a convivial dinner, but it can enjoy an interesting evolution if it is left in the cellar for four or five years .
