Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Morellino di Scansano DOCG, produced by Morisfarms, is a red with a soft body and elegant tannins. The winery, located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, is known throughout Italy for its desire to reconcile tradition and innovation in unique wines. The artisan character of the company's creations is due to the use of traditional methods, however combined with the most modern techniques, aimed at reducing waste. A refined and harmonious wine, the Morellino di Scansano DOCG is 90% made from Sangiovese grapes, typical of the Tuscan territory and appreciated for their quality since the 16th century. To the main vine is added 10% of Merlot and Syrah grapes, the former originating from France, the latter from ancient Persia. The harvest takes place manually between mid-September and the beginning of October; subsequently the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. There is no passage in wood, a factor that gives Morellino di Scansano DOCG a younger and more lively sip. A ready wine, to be appreciated young, but also with broad perspectives. Excellent bottle to take to a dinner with friends, it is a label that really gives prestige to Tuscany in the lane. From the series "try to believe". At the table it is versatile: call for appetizers of cured meats, cheeses or first courses with meat sauce. But it also goes well with grilled meats. Open it in advance, serve it in large goblets at 16-18 degrees to fully enjoy it.
