The Vallée d'Aoste Müller Thurgau DOC wine is produced in the Aosta Valley in the "La Crotta di Vegneron" cooperative cellar where the members have concentrated their efforts mainly on the revaluation of native vines. All the cultivars are located between 500 and 850 meters above sea level, within a microclimate with little rainfall, but with a very striking temperature difference, especially between night and day. Müller-Thurgau is a particularly vigorous vine deriving from the crossing of Riesling and Sylvaner which has taken root in the Aosta Valley since 1946 and one of its characteristics is that of being able to take full advantage of these particular climatic conditions which, in addition to limiting the roots of fungi and contact with the parasites, allow the formation of specific characteristics inside the berry. The production of Vallée d'Aoste Müller Thurgau is carried out with a percentage of 100% from white berries from Müller-Thurgau. Vallée d'Aoste Müller Thurgau is a soft and mineral wine which is recommended to be tasted as an aperitif or as an everyday wine which should be opened at least a couple of years after the harvest.
