Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Nebbiolo d'Alba Vigna Valmaggiore DOC is a structured and elegant red wine, made by the prestigious Bruno Giacosa winery. The Nebbiolo variety, destined to be vinified alone, is grown in Valmaggiore. This Roero cru rises at just under 300 meters above sea level and boasts a south-east exposure, optimal for allowing the grapes to reach the perfect degree of ripeness. The production philosophy of the cellar follows a minimalist imprint. That's why, after a careful harvest, the grapes are left to ferment spontaneously in steel tanks. Even for aging it is preferable to focus on a solution that keeps the unique character of the grape intact. The wine ages for twelve months in large wooden barrels and for a further period in the bottle before being marketed. To best enjoy a glass of Nebbiolo d'Alba Vigna Valmaggiore DOC it is essential to let it oxygenate and aerate in a decanter, especially if it has rested for a few years in the cellar.
