It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is a full-bodied and fine red wine, made by the Piedmontese winery Pio Cesare . The label is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, the best known and most appreciated native variety. On the vineyards located near Alba, the vines enjoy the benefits deriving from the truly unique microclimate that characterizes the Langhe. With a view to preserving these conditions between the rows, human intervention is limited to the essential practices up to the harvest with manual sorting. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and then left to ferment with maceration on the skins for three weeks in steel vats. For ageing, the company uses both barriques and large oak barrels, in which the wine rests for at least two years before bottling. Thanks to its important structure, Nebbiolo Langhe DOC boasts the potential to further evolve up to 4-5 years if carefully stored in the cellar.
