'Nectar Dei' Toscana Rosso IGT NITTARDI 2019 BIG

Toscana Rosso IGT Nectar Dei is a label signed by the Nittardi winery, historic reality of the Chianti Classico. This intense and elegant red wine is obtained from an interesting blend of vines, including Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (20%), Petit Verdot (20%) Syrah (10%) and a remaining 5% of grapes unspecified red berry. The vineyards where the grapes are grown enjoy a special balance between altitude and microclimate: the fruits, already excellent, are processed in the best possible way to give a wine that constitutes the most precious gem of Nittardi's production. After the harvest, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks and then left to age for twenty months in oak barrels. Before being marketed, the Toscana Rosso IGT Nectar Dei ages for a further nine months in glass. The result is a powerful and structured red, whose tasting should be reserved for special occasions, preferably after at least four years of evolution in the cellar.
