'Nerello Cappuccio' Terre Siciliane BIO The Keepers of the Vineyards of Etna 2020

Nerello Cappuccio Terre Siciliane Bio is a red wine with intense aromas produced by the I Custodi delle Vigne dell'Etna winery, intent on enhancing the vocated volcanic terroir of the Etna area. This label is obtained only from grapes of the native Nerello Cappuccio vine, a variety that has always been appreciated only for its productivity, but never considered for its intrinsic quality. On the vineyards that rise in the shadow of the great volcano, the organically grown vines find an ideal environment, thanks to the minerals and nutrients contained in the soil. Once the optimal degree of ripeness has been reached, the bunches are selected and harvested by hand with extreme care. In the cellar, the processes begin with soft pressing and continue with fermentation in contact with the skins. To preserve the varietal notes, the aging takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks. Nerello Cappuccio Terre Siciliane Bio is a wine that can be enjoyed with great satisfaction immediately, as well as after 2-3 years of rest in the cellar.
