Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

This is the product that more than any other represents the bond with the local tradition and with the characteristics of the Tuscan vine par excellence, Sangiovese, which makes Tuscany one of the most famous wine-growing regions in the world. The grapes from the Municipalities of San Casciano in Val di Pesa and Greve in Chianti, where the members' vineyards are grown, are harvested manually when ripening ahead and are then vinified with cutting-edge technologies which tend to limit contact with the oxygen and to enhance all the characteristics of a Chianti Classico. Depending on the vintage, the grapes may undergo maceration for up to 25-30 days. The resulting wine is aged partly in small French oak barrels for 12 months and partly in steel. This wine has an intense ruby red colour. The nose is persistent with hints of red fruits such as blackberry and raspberry and with a light note of vanilla given by its short aging in small oak barrels. It goes well with red meats and game.
