The Chianti Rùfina Riserva DOCG Nipozzano from the historic Marchesi de' Frescobaldi winery is a red wine resulting from the oldest vines of the Nipozzano Castle, which rises in an area, the Chianti Rùfina DOCG, which is the essence of Tuscany. The result of a blend made up of Sangiovese, Colorino, Malvasia nera and Canaiolo, this red is a full-bodied and structured wine that has received various national and international awards, including that of the famous journalist and wine critic James Suckling, who defined exceptional wine. Emblem of the territorial typicality of Chianti, this label is faithful to the winemaking tradition of Tuscany. After the harvest, the grapes macerate and ferment for 25 days, then the Chianti Rùfina Riserva DOCG Nipozzano is left to mature for 2 years in oak barrels, after which it is bottled but not marketed; before being placed on the market it must still refine in the bottle for another 3 months. The result is an intense, rich and enveloping label, an elegant wine with a soft and velvety sip, for an intriguing and harmonious red.
