It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Nizza DOCG is an intense and fragrant red wine from the Castello di Perno winery, a reality dedicated to enhancing the enological potential of the Langhe. This approach is found in the philosophy that leads to the production of this label, obtained from the vinification of Barbera grapes only. On the vineyards owned by the estate, the vines find optimal conditions to grow luxuriantly, thriving thanks to the rich nourishment of the soil. Once carefully selected, the bunches are destemmed in the cellar. The grapes are then cold macerated for two days and subsequently left to ferment in steel containers at a monitored temperature. Aging takes place in large tonneaux, where the wine rests for 14 months. Before being bottled, the wine undergoes a quick passage in vitrified cement tanks to then refine in the bottle for a minimum period of 6 months. Nizza DOCG is a ready-to-drink wine, which however reserves pleasant sensations even after 4-5 years.
