Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Barolo DOCG Ornato is a refined and full-bodied red wine, produced by the Langhe winery Pio Cesare . It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of grapes of the prized native Nebbiolo variety, which are grown near Cascina Ornato. This vineyard is one of the most suitable in the Serralunga d'Alba area, where the terroir gives a remarkable finesse to the grapes. When they reach full maturity, the bunches are carefully selected by hand and quickly transported to the cellar. Here the alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins lasts about a month and takes place in stainless steel tanks at a monitored temperature. The refinement mainly involves the use of large oak barrels and a small part of barriques, where the wine rests for over two and a half years. Barolo DOCG Ornato is a red with extraordinary potential for evolution, if carefully stored, up to 15 years.
