Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

The Osso San Grato Gattinara DOCG red wine from the Antoniolo winery is one of the leading representatives of the entire Piedmontese production, as far as Nebbiolo is concerned. Even if we are "outside the Langhe area", where this grape variety expresses itself at the highest levels with Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero, here in the Alto Novarese the tradition is equally rooted, albeit less famous. Osso San Grato is the name of one of the most prestigious crus in the Gattinara area, where the combination of climatic conditions and the calcareous nature of the soil ensure luxuriant growth of the vines. The winery boasts a long tradition in the wine sector and has guaranteed respect for artisan cultivation, preserving the vines from industrialization, which took place in most of the production area. The production of Osso San Grato Gattinara DOCG wine begins with the harvest done by hand, in order to select only the best bunches. Immediately afterwards we proceed to the fermentation and a long period of aging in wooden barriques. The result is a very complex wine, with good structure and body, easy to drink and which can be discovered sip after sip. Ideal to be enjoyed during a romantic dinner with excellent game meat.
