'Ottolustri' Venezia Giulia Friulano IGT RONCSORELI 2010

The Venezia Giulia Friulano IGT Ottolustri wine is a terroir white that well represents the prestigious wine-growing area of the Colli Orientali del Friuli. This label is produced by the Ronc Soreli farm, an important made in Italy production company, which since 2008 has been successfully led by Flavio Schiratti with the help of Toni Antonio Cuman. The wine is produced from the vinification of 100% Friulano grapes, the fruit of vines exposed to the south-east and planted in 1968 in soil rich in marl and sandstone, at a height between 200 meters and 300 meters above sea level . The Venezia Giulia Friulano IGT Ottolustri has received several awards from wine critics, including that of the Italian Sommelier Association. The manual harvest carried out on fruits that have undergone over-ripening on the plant is first followed by a soft pressing, then a fermentation in steel tanks. Subsequently, in wine it ages in steel containers for a period of no less than 15 months, after which the refinement in the bottle continues for another 24 months. The end result is an elegant label with a savory sip. A fresh and balanced white, for a wine that is characterized by its incredible persistence.
