'Pas Operé' Franciacorta Extra Brut Bellavista 2016 with case

The Franciacorta DOCG Pas Operà sparkling wine from the Bellavista winery represents one of the most elegant wines of this company which boasts a tradition of over 40 years of activity. This sparkling wine is the result of a careful selection of the grapes grown in the various company vines, which have an average age of over 20 years and which mainly enjoy a south-east exposure. To obtain this wine, 65% Chardonnay grapes and 35% Pinot Noir grapes of excellent quality are used. To produce the Franciacorta DOCG Pas Operà sparkling wine, first of all a careful harvest is carried out, rigorously done by hand. The fermentation of most of the must for the formation of the base wine takes place in small white oak barrels. Subsequently the wine is made into sparkling wine with the classic method and remains to rest in the bottle on its lees for a period of 6 years before disgorgement without adding sugar. The result is a sparkling wine with a fine, persistent and elegant perlage. On the nose aromas of citrus and ripe, exotic yellow fruit, with hints of bread crust and vanilla. The mouth expresses all its intensity, it is complex with successive aromas, fresh and mineral, excellent persistence.
