'Patricia' Pinot Noir Alto Adige DOC Girlan 2021

The Pinot Noir Patricia from the Girlan winery is an elegant expression of red wine from Alto Adige, it comes from grapes grown on the hills of Mazzon and Montagna, in the Oltradige area. In fact, this winery brings together 200 local winemakers, each of whom contributes the fruit of their expertise and passion for the vineyard, to contribute to the creation of these great wines, appreciated in Italy and around the world. In this area, the calcareous-clayey soil and a sufficiently ventilated and sunny microclimate are ideal conditions for perfect ripening of the Pinot Noir grapes expertly used for winemaking. After a harvest done in the traditional way by hand, the must ferments in steel for 15 days and the refinement is made first in oak barrels for 15 months and then in the bottle for another 6 months. Pinot Noir Patricia is an elegant, well-structured and fruity wine, with a typical ruby red color with some garnet reflections; the nose is elegant, with notes of light and delicate red fruit, soft and velvety, perfect to drink immediately, it can evolve in the cellar for a further 4 or 5 years.
