'Piè delle Vigne' Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC Cataldi Madonna 2019

Piè delle Vigne Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC is a rosé wine produced by the Cataldi Madonna winery. It is obtained from the vinification of only grapes of the native Montepulciano variety, widespread in the regions of central Italy. The vineyards are located near the Gran Sasso National Park, where they enjoy optimal conditions for luxuriant development. When ripe, the grapes are picked by hand and taken to the cellar. Here the vinification takes place in red for a small part, equal to 15%. To extract the color, a maceration of about 4 or 5 days is carried out. After the alcoholic fermentation in steel, the refinement involves two phases, the first of which provides for a rest of one year, always in steel. The wine seals its scents for another year in glass after bottling. Excellent immediately, Piè delle Vigne Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC can reserve pleasant surprises even after 1 or 2 years of careful conservation.
