Pinot Blanc Alto Adige DOC Girlan 2021

The Pinot Bianco Alto Adige/Südtirol DOC proposed by the Girlan winery is one of the truest expressions of Alto Adige. The basis of the label is 100% pure Pinot Bianco, the most cultivated white grape variety in the Cornaiano area, in the province of Bolzano. The altitude of the rows is between 450 and 500 meters and the soils are rich in mineral components, especially sediments and sand. The harvest takes place at the end of September and involves the manual selection of the best bunches. The grapes are subjected to gentle pressing and the resulting must is then left to settle. Fermentation and refinement, phases in which the organoleptic characteristics of the wine develop, are carried out in steel tanks. Pinot Bianco Alto Adige/Südtirol DOC can rest for at least 3 years in the cellar and it is precisely at the end of this period that all its qualities can be appreciated. Fresh and lively, it is particularly suitable for an aperitif with friends.
