Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The Colli Orientali del Friuli Pinot Grigio DOC wine is a successful white, which has obtained various national and international awards, including that of the Veronelli Guide. Produced by the Bastianich winery, an interesting Friulian production company, which cultivates both native and international vines, giving unique wines of high quality. This label comes from the vinification of 100% Pinot Grigio grapes, coming from hillside vineyards. The vines are grown at a height ranging from 120 meters to 180 meters above sea level, on a limestone-based soil, rich in Eocene marl. After a careful harvest done by hand in crates in the first ten days of September, the grapes are first selected on sorting benches, to then be de-stemmed and pressed. Vinification in steel follows, after which the Colli Orientali del Friuli Pinot Grigio DOC is bottled and left to rest in glass for a month. The final product is a white wine with a round sip. An aromatic wine with a good structure, for a truly surprising full-bodied label.
