The Pinot Grigio Ramato Venezia Giulia IGT is a white wine from the Ronco Severo winery, a production reality that follows an artisan philosophy. It is obtained from Pinot Grigio grapes alone, a very common variety in these areas, whose berries are characterized by the unmistakable color that veers towards copper. The vines rise about 150 meters above sea level and have their roots in soils rich in marl. After a short maceration on the skins, the alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts involves the use of large tanks at controlled temperatures. The refinement lasts just under two years and takes place in Slavonian oak barrels. Before bottling, which coincides with the waning moon phase in line with ancient traditions, the wine is not subjected to filtration. Pinot Grigio Ramato Venezia Giulia IGT can be opened immediately with great satisfaction or kept for up to 2-3 years in the cellar.
