It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC is a label produced by Kettmeir which exemplifies the cellar's passion for a noble vine, capable of expressing itself at its best in this production area. The vineyards, located near Caldaro, at about 600 meters above sea level, boast calcareous soils and an ideal microclimate. The single-variety vinification of the Pinot Noir grapes starts with the maceration of the skins, a process that perfectly reflects the company's production know-how. Thanks to the initial lower temperatures, it is possible to stabilize the tannins and extract the coloring substances that characterize the vine. The wine is then aged for a maximum of six months in large wooden barrels. Ideal for a dinner based on typical local dishes, Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC is excellent if enjoyed young, but has the potential for further aging in the cellar for up to five years.
