Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Pinot Nero San Michele Appiano is a red wine classified as Alto Adige DOC. It is produced by the San Michele Appiano/St. Michael Eppan in Appiano, South Tyrol. The cellar brings together over 300 families of winemakers from the area. Pinot Noir San Michele Appiano is produced using exclusively Pinot Noir grapes, a vine of French origin widespread all over the world. In the microclimate of Appiano this vine is able to express itself at its best, giving life to a structured and elegant wine of great refinement. The harvest takes place from the end of September to mid-October with manual harvesting and selection of the grapes in the vineyard, the fermentation takes place in steel containers, while the refinement is done subsequently in wooden barrels.
