Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

The Hofstatter estate is located within a 15th century complex. It is known, in particular, for the production of pinot noir and in particular for the Barthenau Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC Vigna S.Urbano Hofstatter label . Produced from Pinot Noir vineyards over sixty-five years old, it is one of the most prestigious bottles of Alto Adige. The microclimatic conditions give the bottle uniqueness, it is impossible to replicate the conditions in which the grape variety develops. The wine first ages in barriques for a year and then in large barrels for eight months. It is completed with a further eight months of aging in the bottle. The result is a full-bodied wine, with persistent sapidity on the palate and an incomparable aromatic impact. A fantastic and unrepeatable sensory experience.
