Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
Michei di Michei Pinot Nero Vigneti delle Dolomiti PGI is a noble red wine produced by the Hofstatter winery. It is obtained exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, grown within the plot of the renowned farm which rises 800 meters above sea level. Here the vines enjoy the benefits of soils rich in gravel and clay, as well as ideal sun exposure. At the end of the selective harvest, the vinification involves the use of a percentage equal to 25% of whole bunches, a choice that denotes the desire to extract tannins and unique scents. The alcoholic fermentation on the skins lasts about ten days. The refinement involves three distinct steps and begins with a year's rest in barriques, followed by another 6 months in large oak barrels and finally a year in the bottle. Perfect right from the start, with floral expressions and great elegance, rich and complex, Michei di Michei Pinot Nero Vigneti delle Dolomiti PGI boasts excellent potential to evolve in the cellar for a few years.
