The Pinot Nero Rosé Alto Adige DOC rosé wine from the San Michele Appiano winery is certainly a fresh and delicate wine that best expresses the flavors and scents of its land of origin. In fact, only Pinot Noir grapes are used which have adapted optimally to the structure of the soil and the climatic conditions of South Tyrol. The Saignéè method is then used, i.e. a draining of the must during vinification. To produce the Pinot Nero Rosé Alto Adige DOC rosé wine, grapes are selected from vines up to 30 years of age. After having followed the aforementioned Saignée method, the must is left to ferment in steel vats and is subsequently left to mature in cement vats, before being aged in the bottle. In this way an elegant, balanced and finely harmonious wine is obtained.
