Pinot Noir DOC Caldaro Cellar 2022

Pinot Noir DOC from Cantina di Caldaro - Kellerei Kaltern comes from grapes of the same name vinified in purity. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 450 meters, precisely in the hilly area near Lake Caldaro. The soils are rich in clay and limestone and are well drained. The vines enjoy excellent exposure to the sun and a cool climate, qualities that allow the wine to acquire great harmony and balance. After a rigorous selection during the harvest phase, the grapes undergo fermentation in steel tanks, at a controlled temperature for a few days. The must then rests for 5 months in wooden barrels and concrete tanks, a step which allows the aromas and scents of the vine to be preserved. Pinot Nero DOC Cantina di Caldaro is an excellent ready-to-drink wine, which offers important fruity nuances, typical of the South Tyrolean terroir.
