It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Poggio Rosso Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione is an elegant and structured red wine produced by the Tuscan winery San Felice . This label is produced only in the best years and is obtained from the single-variety vinification of grapes from the local Sangiovese vine. The company's historic vineyards are located in the Castelnuovo Berardenga area. Here the vines find a particularly favorable environment and are carefully cultivated until the manual harvest. After destemming, the grapes ferment on the skins in steel containers for just under a month. Then follows the refinement which provides for a rest of three years in large wooden barrels and barriques, to then conclude after the assembly with a further passage of a year and three months in the bottle. Poggio Rosso Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione boasts good potential for further evolution and can be appreciated after 8-9 years of rest in the cellar.
