Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Nizza Pomorosso DOC is a great wine from the Coppo winery located in the Langhe area and represents one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in the area, thanks to its centuries-old tradition. The grapes come from the Barbera vine, with vineyards located 200 meters above sea level, on a clayey and calcareous soil, particularly rich in iron and chalk. The warm and temperate climate of the area helps to give the grapes their maximum splendour. The maceration of the grapes takes place in contact with the skins in steel tanks and then aged for about 14 months in barriques. The particular name of the wine is due to the presence in the vineyard of a majestic red apple tree. Nizza Pomorosso DOC is a wine that is produced only in the best vintages, vigorous, robust, intense and well structured, ready-made, but which can evolve well if left to rest in the cellar for another 4/5 years.
