Port LBV NIEPOORT 2013 Case

Porto Lbv is a delicious wine from the Niepoort company, an established family business from the enchanting valleys of the Duero, in Portugal, where it boasts experience in the wine production business since 1842. A continuous path of success thanks to the professionalism and to the union of the Niepoort company family, which reconciles elements of tradition with elements of innovation. The grapes used for the production of this wine come from vineyards in the Cima corgo region, along the banks of the spectacular Duero river. Once harvested, the grapes are pressed again with the stems and subsequently transferred to lagares, proceeding with trampling before the start of fortification, a procedure which will stabilize the wine and give it a liqueur characteristic. The refinement takes place in large oak barrels. Before tasting, in order to be able to savor it in all its characteristic facets, we will proceed with decantation. Porto Lbv is a fresh fortified wine, on the palate it is solid, structured and at the same time silky.
