Porto Tawny NIEPOORT 20 Years Old

The Tawny Port 20 Years Old is a delicious liqueur wine from the Niepoort company, an established family business from the enchanting valleys of the Duero, in Portugal, where it boasts experience in the wine production business since 1842, combining tradition and innovation. Along the banks of the Duero river, more precisely in the splendid Cima Corgo region, are the vineyards used for the production of this refined wine. For the production of Tawny Port 20 Years Old different harvests were used, a characteristic which gives this wine a pleasing crispness. The vinification takes place through a long maceration on the skins and a fermentation at high temperatures, thus giving an excellent structure. Aging takes place in small oak barrels. The long rest in the cellars of Villa Nova de Gaia for many years, gives life to this refined liqueur red wine, endowed with a complex structure and a facet of tasty warm notes, on the palate it is full-bodied and velvety.
