'Quaranta Altari' Vinsanto del Chianti DOC Frescobaldi 2019

Vin Santo del Chianti DOC Quaranta Altari from the historic Tuscan winery Marchesi de' Frescolbaldi is a prestigious sweet wine, the result of a blend made up of Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Bianca Lunga. This label, perfect to be served at the end of a meal, is a high representative of the typicality of the territory and of the ancient winemaking art, typical of Chianti. Vin Santo del Chianti DOC Quaranta Altari is a high quality wine that stands out for its good aromatic complexity and for its right acidity. This great Tuscan classic is the result of a meticulous manual harvest that chooses only and exclusively the best grapes, these are left to dry naturally, after which they are placed in sealed barrels. During the long maturation in these small barrels the malolactic fermentation follows; subsequently the Vin Santo is aged for 5 years. The result is a very aromatic sweet wine with a long persistence, a label with a beautiful consistency, with a warm, round and balanced sip.
