'Quattro Vicariati' Rosso Trentino Superiore DOC Cavit 2019

Quattro Vicariati Rosso Trentino Superiore DOC is a red wine produced by the Cavit winery, a real oenological colossus of the Trentino denomination. It is obtained from a blend which largely includes Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, to which is added a slightly lower percentage of Merlot grapes. The plots are located in the municipalities of Rovereto, Mori and Avio. The nearby Adige river favors a mild microclimate, creating the ideal conditions for a luxuriant development of the vines right up to the time of the harvest. Only the best bunches are selected by hand for subsequent vinification. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks with temperature monitoring. An aging in small oak barrels follows, where the wine remains for a year and a half. Quattro Vicariati Rosso Trentino Superiore DOC is a wine that can be appreciated already after bottling, as well as following a further 4-5 year rest in the cellar.
