Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

Description

From the best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes comes Quintessence Franciacorta DOCG Riserva Extra Brut , a vintage of great quality, produced by the Antica Fratta winery . The company has its roots in the hills of Monticelli Brusati, in the province of Brescia. The soils are of morainic origin with abundant skeleton which, thanks to a cool and breezy climate, allow the optimal growth of the vineyard. This sparkling wine, with a persistent perlage, derives from the selection of the best bunches, harvested in the first days of September, which then face a soft pressing. It is vinified in white, after which it ferments a second time in the bottle, according to the Classic Method, where it ages on the lees for more than 8 years, a very long period. Quintessence Franciacorta DOCG Riserva Extra Brut Millesimato presents a great complexity of aromas, as its aromatic bouquet has managed to evolve in the best way, given its long rest period. It is ready to be tasted, despite this, it can be stored in the cellar for a few more years, to the full advantage of complexity.
