It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Rabajà Barbaresco DOCG Riserva , an excellent red wine from the Bera Valter winery, represents a noble expression of an autochthonous vine from the Langhe. Only Nebbiolo grapes are used to produce it, an elegant variety that is best expressed in the company's cru. In fact, in the Barbaresco terroir, the cellar owns a small plot of land with a clayey substrate and optimal exposure to the west. The bunches arrive at the perfect state of ripeness and are harvested after careful manual selection. When the grapes are transported to the cellar, the alcoholic fermentation begins, rigorously in steel containers at a controlled temperature, with two weeks of maceration on the skins. Once the vinification is complete, the aging continues with a two-year stop in oak barrels. The result is a red wine with extraordinary characteristics: elegance, power, persistence; it also has the potential for further refinement: in fact, Rabajà Barbaresco DOCG Riserva can be left to rest and refine further, in the cellar, even for about ten years.
