Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC La Tunella 2021

Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is a red wine made by the La Tunella winery, one of the most important wineries in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. It is obtained 100% from one of the native vines of the area, namely Refosco dal Peduncolo, rediscovered and brought to light since the 1970s. The result of the care and attention that the cellar places in enhancing the territorial characteristics of the Colli Orientali, the Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso by La Tunella is vinified in steel and left to mature in French oak barrels for four months. It is advisable to let it rest in the cellar for a couple of years in order to better appreciate its qualities. Red with good structure, it is a wine of character but at the same time gentle and elegant. Once in the mouth it can be appreciated in its characteristic fruity aromatic profile. We recommend this wine to all lovers of good quality red capable of becoming the standard bearer of the peculiarities of the territory of origin.
