The Brandy Solera Reserva 1877 is a top product of the range offered by Williams & Humbert, a popular Andalusian distillery. This part of southern Spain has a dry, Mediterranean climate, perfect for growing native grape varieties. At the base of Brandy there are in fact two qualities of Andalusian grapes such as Palomino and Airen, both with a high alcohol concentration. They are carefully selected and vinified, in order to obtain the wine that will be used for the development of the distillate. Aging is prolonged over time and follows the dictates of the Solera method, which every year involves transferring the wine from one oak barrel to another.
