Ribolla Gialla Venezia Giulia IGT is an intense and structured white wine, produced by the Friulian winery Dario Princic . The label is obtained by vinifying grapes of the autochthonous Ribolla Gialla variety, which are grown according to the principles of organic farming. On the marly and sandstone-rich soils, the vines find the nourishment they need to grow luxuriantly. When ripe, the healthiest grapes are carefully hand-picked. In the style of orange wines, spontaneous fermentation with maceration on the skins takes place in wooden vats and lasts about three weeks. The refinement involves an initial passage of two and a half years in fine oak barrels and ends with a rest of three months in steel tanks before bottling. Perfect from the start, Ribolla Gialla Venezia Giulia IGT reserves pleasant surprises even after a further evolution of 4 or 5 years in the cellar.
