'Richenza' Venezia Giulia IGT Vigna Petrussa 2018

Richenza Venezia Giulia IGT is an elegant white wine produced by the Friulian winery Vigna Petrussa . It is obtained from a blend that includes four white grape varieties: Friulano, Malvasia Istriana, Picolit and Riesling Renano. On the marly soil with a high percentage of sand, the vines can thrive, thanks also to the particularly favorable microclimate. When they reach the ideal degree of ripeness, the bunches are subjected to separate manual harvesting for individual vines. Even during the vinification, different processes are foreseen for each variety. The grapes are gently pressed and then placed to ferment in steel tanks. The refinement is divided into two phases, the first of which involves a rest of a year and a half in oak barriques. The wine ages for 6 months in the bottle before being put on the market. Richenza Venezia Giulia IGT can reserve pleasant surprises even after 3 or 4 years.
