'RiNera' Schioppettino Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC Vigna Petrussa 2020

RiNera Schioppettino Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC is a red wine made by the Vigna Petrussa winery . It is obtained from the vinification of grapes of the native Schioppettino vine, a dark berried variety locally known as Ribolla Nera. The plots are located near Albana, near Prepotto. The soils boast a rich mineral composition that gives a good aromatic profile to the grapes, which grow healthy thanks to the beneficial winds. Manual harvesting takes place at the end of September, after which only the healthiest bunches are transported to the cellar. Here the vinification begins with maceration in contact with the skins and continues with alcoholic fermentation. The subsequent refinement involves the use of steel tanks which preserve the varietal scents. RiNera Schioppettino Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC can be appreciated immediately, as well as after a couple of years of rest in the cellar.
