It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
Roero DOCG is a red wine produced by the Piedmontese winery Correggia Matteo . The label is the result of the single-variety vinification of grapes of the prized native Nebbiolo variety. The plots rise about 300 meters above sea level, where the vines sink their roots into fertile soils, mainly composed of fine sand, pebbles and marl. The meticulous manual harvest takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October and allows only the best bunches to be picked. In the cellar the grapes are destemmed and then left to ferment with maceration on the skins for about a week in stainless steel tanks. After a stay of eight months in contact with the lees in the same steel containers, the subsequent refinement involves a rest in wooden barrels for at least one year. Roero DOCG can be tasted with great satisfaction immediately, as well as after 4 or 5 years of further evolution.
