Description
Ronco Bernizza Chardonnay Collio DOC is a light and fragrant white wine made by the Venica winery. It is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Chardonnay grapes, an international white grape variety that expresses itself elegantly in this denomination. The proprietary vineyards from which the bunches come are located in the province of Gorizia, precisely in Dolegna del Collio. With a view to preserving the ecosystem, human intervention between the rows is limited until the harvest which involves the manual selection of the healthiest bunches. Once in the cellar, the grapes are left to macerate at low temperatures. Both the alcoholic fermentation and the subsequent refinement take place largely in stainless steel, while for some lots large wooden barrels are used. After resting on its lees for 5 months, the wine is bottled. Ronco Bernizza Chardonnay Collio DOC is excellent immediately, as well as after 2-3 years of evolution in the bottle.
