'Rosa di Adele' Nerello Mascalese Sicilia DOC Feudo Montoni 2021

Rosa di Adele Nerello Mascalese Sicilia DOC is a rosé wine made by the Feudo Montoni winery. The label is obtained from the vinification of only Nerello Mascalese grapes, a native variety known and loved in the area since ancient times. On the vineyards located 600 meters above sea level, the vines find an ideal environment, thanks in particular to the clay and sand substrates. The work between the rows is carried out in line with the principles of organic farming up to the collection of the best bunches. After a delicate pressing, the grapes are left to macerate for three hours in contact with the skins. Then follows the spontaneous fermentation in large concrete tanks. The refinement involves a six-month rest on the lees inside concrete vats. Rosa di Adele Nerello Mascalese Sicilia DOC is a perfect rosé wine to be enjoyed immediately, as well as after a couple of years of further evolution.
