Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured rosé wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
The Rosè Venezia Giulia IGT from the Livio Felluga winery is a modern reinterpretation of the local winemaking tradition. After almost seventy years of history and five generations, the Livio Felluga winery is undoubtedly among the most important, not only at a regional level, but throughout Italy. The company covers 160 hectares in Rosazzo, in the Collio area. In this hilly area, with altitudes ranging from 200 to 300 metres, the climate is made mild by the proximity to the Adriatic Sea. To produce Rosè Venezia Giulia IGT , 85% Merlot and 15% Pinot Noir grapes are used. After a careful and manual harvest, we proceed with a delicate pressing of the grapes. To clarify the must, decantation is used, it is then left to ferment in steel tanks. The refinement takes place on the lees, partly in steel tanks and partly in terracotta. It is a surprisingly structured rosé wine, with a contagious freshness and a persistent taste, undoubtedly ready to drink, but which also lends itself to interesting evolutions over time, if correctly stored in the cellar.
