'Roseri' Chiaretto del Garda Valtènesi DOC Cà Maiol 2021

The Roseri Chiaretto del Garda Valtènesi DOC is among the flagship wines of the Cà Maiolo company, founded in 1967 on the Brescia side of Lake Garda. This rosé is the result of the microclimate and terroir characteristic of Lugana, which can count on mild winters, hot summers, light breezes and not too abundant rains typical of the proximity to the lake. The calcareous soil, with clayey stratifications, represents the right place for the development of Groppello, an ancient autochthonous vine which, together with Barbera, Sangiovese and Marzemino is used in the production of this Rosato Chiaretto del Garda Valtènesi DOC , a medium structure, light and with a soft and delicate color. It is also called "one night wine" because the vinification involves the contact of the must with the skins for one night while the refinement takes place in steel tanks. It should be drunk young, but even after a few years it retains its aroma and its taste-olfactory bouquets.
