'Rosso dei Barbi' Toscana IGT Fattoria dei Barbi 2018

In Tuscany, a land that has always been suited to great viticulture, the Rosso Dei Barbi Toscana Sangiovese IGT is produced by the historic Fattoria dei Barbi winery. The company, of very ancient origins, combines innovation with the best tradition, producing prestigious bottles that identify very well with the territory. The grapes come from the Sangiovese vines, classics in this area rich in limestone and clay and with a Mediterranean climate mitigated by the sea breeze, therefore subject to considerable temperature variations. After the harvest, cold maceration takes place, followed by fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine needs to mature for a few months in steel tanks and to complete the refinement in the bottle before being marketed. Rosso Dei Barbi Toscana Sangiovese IGT is an enveloping and rich wine, ideal for immediate drinking, but which can rest in the cellar for 4 or 5 years.
