It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description
The Rosso di Montalcino wine from the Poggio di Sotto winery is obtained using only Sangiovese grapes. The vine is cultivated with the spurred cordon technique on the hills of Montalcino at an altitude between 200 and 450 metres. The soils rich in mineral salts, together with the good climatic conditions, ensure a high yield from a qualitative point of view. For several years the cellar has been a point of reference for the Tuscan wine sector, thanks to the production of excellent quality wines. The production cycle of this wine is very particular. In fact, after the harvest, the grapes are fermented immediately inside wooden vats and then followed by a long phase of aging first in Slavonian oak barrels and subsequently in the bottle. The result is a full-bodied and robust red wine, with a delicate fruity and spicy aroma, savory but pleasant at the same time. Any occasion is ideal to uncork a bottle of this excellent wine. He prefers important meat dishes.
