It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description
Rosso di Montalcino DOC Poggio Landi is a label produced by Dievole , a Tuscan winery that beautifully interprets the traditional philosophy of the denomination. This wine is made only from Sangiovese grapes, a local variety which acquires unmistakable sensory nuances on the company's vineyards. The vines derive the maximum benefit from the marly clays that make up the soil, as well as from the excellent sun exposure. These conditions favor the growth of healthy bunches, carefully selected during the harvest. In the cellar, the winemaking process begins with spontaneous fermentation on the lees. This is a step that takes two weeks and requires meticulous temperature control. For the refinement, the company chooses untoasted French oak barrels, where the wine remains for a year. After bottling, Rosso di Montalcino DOC Poggio Landi ages for another 3 months. Ready to drink, but can give pleasant sensations even after 3 or 4 years of rest in the cellar.
