Rosso 'Sofi' Vineyards of the Dolomites IGT Franz Haas 2021

Rosso Sofi Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT is a fresh and fragrant wine produced by the Franz Haas winery. This label is obtained from a successful blend, which combines the native variety Lagrein with the international Merlot. The bunches of the first type of grape are grown with the traditional pergola system, typical of the Trentino area, while the rows of Merlot with the Guyot system. The vineyards are located about 300 meters above sea level on fertile soils particularly rich in dolomitic rocks. Once the harvest is complete, the vinification involves separate steps depending on the variety. Only during the refinement phase are the lots united to rest rigorously inside steel containers which keep the fragrance of the primary scents intact. Rosso Sofi Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT is a wine designed to be best appreciated shortly after bottling, but can be carefully stored in the cellar for another three years.
