'Rubatsch' Lagrein Alto Adige DOC Manincor 2020

The Rubatsch Lagrein Alto Adige DOC , signed by the Manincor winery, is a red wine that is obtained from the vinification of the grapes of the native Lagrein vine. The company makes perfect use of these grapes, thanks also to an experience of over four hundred years, which over time has left room for continuous innovations, such as the introduction of biodynamic practices. The vineyards chosen by the winery to produce this wine are raised on morainic and sandy soils, which give the grapes unique characteristics. With a view to selecting only the best bunches, the harvest is done by hand. The traditional fermentation in wooden vats is followed by a two-week maceration, while the aging in oak barrels can continue for a period between 12 and 18 months. Rubatsch Lagrein Alto Adige DOC is perfect to be enjoyed as soon as it is bottled, even if it can unleash even more complex aromas after a few years of storage in the cellar.
