'Saleit' Chardonnay DOC Caldaro Winery 2021

In the splendid setting of Alto Adige, at an altitude between 300 and 450 metres, the Chardonnay vines are grown which produce the grapes needed to obtain the Chardonnay 'Saleit' white wine from the Cantina di Caldaro winery. Born from the merger of two wineries in the area, with a tradition dating back to the early twentieth century, the founders of this winery base all their work on two fundamental axioms: passion for work and respect for traditions. In this way they are able to obtain wines of excellent quality and with a refined flavour. The soils on which the cultivation takes place are clayey and calcareous and guarantee the right amount of mineral salts to the bunches. The favorable climate allows the vines to grow perfectly and then produce delicious fruits. The meticulous care in the production process, starting right from the harvest, allows us to arrive at this white wine with an intense but delicate flavor at the same time and with an aftertaste from which the hints of exotic fruits are perceived.
